GUARANTEED RESULTS IN 4 EASY STEPS

We measure the envelope leakage in real-time, enabling the system to dial-in specific requirements for air leakage and guarantee the results.

AeroBarrier is the only method to reach any level of air tightness the first time. The entire AeroBarrier process takes only a few hours for a typical single-family home, from setup to completion.

We connect our patented AeroBarrier technology to your home via a modified blower to pressurize and distribute the sealing formula.

The pressure carries our non-toxic, water-based formula throughout the home. It effectively seals any leak by using the air leaking out of the home, finding any leak point, visible or not.

Have peace of mind monitoring the seal and seeing the real-time results. You’ll even get a certificate of completion showing the before and after results.

STEP 1

PREP & SETUP

Prep the area by covering any openings that won’t be sealed. This includes taping or covering any designed openings or finished horizontal surfaces within the space. Emitters are then set up throughout the area to be air sealed.

The AeroBarrier Connect system is then set up. It includes a blower door, nozzle stations and hoses, a fan with lay-flat tubing, and the master control unit.

STEP 2

PRESSURIZE & APPLY

Using a blower door, the space is pressurized.

After that, a computer controls the entire process, including the temperature, pressure, humidity, and distribution of sealant within the space.

STEP 3

SEAL & MONITOR

With the AeroBarrier Connect system, you see results in real time. You have complete control over your desired level of airtightness and can achieve any level required.

A final blower door test is run at the end of the process to verify the air sealing results. AeroBarrier then provides a Certificate of Completion that shows pre and post-leakage.

STEP 4

CLEAN UP

After the air sealing is complete, work can resume in the space within 30 minutes.

At that time, clean-up of all equipment and removal of all tape and coverings can occur.

EXPERIENCE & COMMITMENT

Our operations team of Saki Ozkaran (shown on the left) and Liam Casey (shown on the right) are ready to answer your questions and provide a custom-made written quotation for your requirements.

Airtight Solutions is managed by Saki Ozkaran, an environmental engineer with more than 15 years of experience in environmental science, waste management, and renewable energy.

Saki has a degree in North American Business Management from Capilano University in North Vancouver, B.C. In 2021, he spearheaded a project on the Embodied Carbon Calculation of Building Materials sponsored by the Ministry of Natural Resources Canada.

As the exclusive supplier of AeroBarrierⓇ building envelope sealing systems throughout the Sea-to-Sky corridor, Airtight Solutions is committed to helping builders, developers, and homeowners pursue excellence in constructing high-performance homes.

Saki says, “Houses truly are living organisms. As green building technologies advance, we are learning more and more about the interdependence between heating, ventilation, natural light and airflow. High-performance homes meet third-party certified energy efficiency standards at no net increase to a homeowner once the added costs are balanced with utility savings. And while performance benchmarks like increased energy efficiency and better air quality can be measured, the quality of life benefits to your family is almost incalculable. How, for instance, do you put a numeric value on fresh air?”
