Measure Results
As AeroBarrier is applied to your project, the results are displayed in real time. By incorporating a blower door, the AeroBarrier system is able to target and hit your desired Air Changes per Hour (ACH). It is that easy and it is guaranteed. Easy to Apply
From start to finish, the sealing process takes 1-2 hours. In new construction applications, prep and clean up time is minimal – typically taking less than an hour. Once set up, the AeroBarrier machine takes over and manages the sealing process through completion.

How AeroBarrier Works
AeroBarrier is an interior applied air sealing system that seals all building envelope leaks. The waterborne acrylic sealant is applied by pressuring a targeted building area, then spraying the aerosolized sealant into the pressurized space.
The sealant is applied within 60-90 minutes and dries before system cleanup is complete, allowing construction to resume shortly after the process is complete. The system measures the envelope leakage in real-time, enabling the system to dial-in specific requirements for air leakage and guarantee the results.

The entire AeroBarrier process, from setup to completion, takes only a few hours for a typical single-family home.

Setup Equipment
Equipment is set up at the job site. Conveniently transported by trailer, AeroBarrier install equipment is mobile and portable. The equipment includes a compressor, generator, blower door, emitters, hoses, and the AeroBarrier machine.
Prep the Area
Prep the space. This includes taping or covering any areas that won’t be sealed. Emitters are then set up throughout the area to be sealed.
Pressurize
Pressurize the space with the use of a blower door. A computer does the rest, including the control of temperature, pressure, humidity, and distribution of sealant during the process.
Real-Time Results
See the results in real-time. Throughout the application process, the computer monitor displays the ACH improvement, allowing you full control over your desired level of envelope tightness and the leakage reduction.
Analyze
Run a final blower door test to verify the sealing results. At the end of the process, receive an AeroBarrier Certificate, with a pre and post leakage report.
