A GAME CHANGING
SOLUTION
Aeroseal Envelope (formally known as AeroBarrier) is made for builders. It makes it easy and economical to seal the building envelope and make homes more energy efficient.
Aeroseal Envelope is an interior-applied air sealing system that seals all building envelope leaks. The waterborne acrylic sealant is applied by pressuring a targeted building area and then spraying the aerosolized sealant into the pressurized space.
The sealant is applied within 60-90 minutes and dries before system cleanup is complete, allowing construction to resume shortly after the process is complete. The system measures the envelope leakage in real-time, enabling it to dial in specific requirements for air leakage and guarantee the results.

AIR SEALING DONE RIGHT
Consistent, guaranteed, results allow your schedule to maintain its course. Best part, the technology is easily integrated into any build process.
Meet any ENERGY STAR®, LEED, Passive House or Net Zero requirement!
FEATURES & BENEFITS

Our air sealing system seals all building envelope leaks up to ½”, and as small as a human hair.

GreenGuard Gold certified, the sealant is self-guided to the edges of leaks creating a seal.

Using a standard, single-point blower door test, our software measures the leakage in real time.

Real-time measurements enable you to dial in specific requirements and guarantee the results.
The 4 Step Aeroseal Envelope Process
For a typical single-family home, the entire Aeroseal Envelope process, from setup to completion, takes only a few hours.
The system measures envelope leakage in real time, enabling it to dial in specific requirements for air leakage and guarantee the results.
Prep the area by covering any openings that won’t be sealed. This includes taping or covering any designed openings or finished horizontal surfaces within the space. Emitters are then set up throughout the area to be air sealed.
The Aeroseal Envelope Connect system is then set up. It includes a blower door, nozzle stations and hoses, a fan with lay-flat tubing, and the master control unit.
Using a blower door, the space is pressurized. After that, a computer controls the entire process including the temperature, pressure, humidity, and distribution of sealant within the space.
With the Aeroseal Envelope Connect system, you see results in real-time. You have complete control over your desired level of airtightness and can achieve any level required. At the end of the process, a final blower door test is run to verify the air sealing results. Airtight Solutions then provides a Certificate of Completion that shows pre and post leakage.
After the air sealing is complete, work can resume in the space within 30 minutes. At that time, clean up of all equipment and removal of all tape and coverings can occur.
WHAT WE USE TO MAKE YOUR HOME AIRTIGHT
Below are a few of the products that help us achieve such great results so quickly!

Aeroseal Envelope Connect
Air Sealing Systems
The Aeroseal Envelope Connect system pressurizes the building envelope before injecting precise levels of aerosolized sealant mist into the building.
It uses a safe, water-based sealant that is non-toxic, with no VOCs or off-gassing.
AeroSeal Envelope Connect Benefits
For a typical single-family home, the entire Aeroseal Envelope process, from setup to completion, takes only a few hours.
The system measures envelope leakage in real-time, enabling it to set specific requirements for air leakage and guarantee the results.
Each nozzle relays temperature and humidity data from each room in real time using sensors and a mesh network. By working independently from the main control unit, sealant delivery is ultraprecise and customized to each room. This eliminates overspray and optimizes sealant usage. This ensures less waste and faster sealing while still hitting desired tightness levels.
Each hose is connected and ready to go as it is unpacked from the trailer. And each hose can be used for sealing and flushing.
Our high-powered centrifugal fan speeds up building pressurization and leak sealing. It is also designed to minimize sealant backflow for less cleaning and maintenance.
Work can start without delay thanks to the Aeroseal Envelope Connect trailer. Equipped with an electronic air compressor, and a separate compartment for an industrial-grade, diesel generator, Aeroseal Envelope Connect can work independently of the site’s power supply.
Aeroseal Envelope
X1 Sealant
Aeroseal Envelope X1 is a safe, non-toxic, waterborne acrylic sealant used with our Aeroseal air sealing systems.
Aeroseal Envelope pressurizes the building envelope and aerosolizes the sealant before injecting precise levels of this sealant mist into the building. Sealant particles are automatically drawn to each leak, building a complete and tight seal. System software records progress in real-time, noting before and after ACH.
Aeroseal Envelope X1 has no VOCs or off-gassing and meets multiple exacting industry tests and standards.
Aeroseal Envelope seals have remained firmly in place for years and are completely pliable and flexible. This reduces energy loss and mitigates moisture, sound, and odour infiltration to improve indoor air quality and comfort.
Up to 65% + increase in productivity
We can seal two multifamily units simultaneously with the Aeroseal Envelope Boost add-on to our Aeroseal Connect system.
Incredibly effective, guaranteed air sealing is now made more accessible and faster, shortening the build time of multifamily projects and keeping their construction schedule on track.
